I thought this 'Pizza Lab' posting at seriouseats.com was timely. It's a review, if you will, on different types of mozzarella cheese and which have the best pizza properties.
There have been times when I've made 'za that I was not happy with the cheese and now I know why! |

Did you stack two crusts with the pizza, Al? |
Thanks!
Yes. The bottom layer has sauce, pepperoni, cheese and Penzey's Pizza Seasoning. I wanted some cheese on that layer to cement the 2 layers together. It worked pretty well. Top layer has sauce, onion, green pepper, cheese, mushrooms and more Penzey's Pizza Seasoning. _________________ Al

Last night was cabbage sloppy joes rolled up burrito style in spring roll wrappers. I am officially hooked on those. Also, roast carrots as veggie. Various side dishes, meaning, I ate half an apple and some dried cherries, my dh ate an apple and some raisins. _________________ son - high ttg - 4/09, pos. biopsy 5/09

Wow, that sounds delicious. I am totally stealing that idea. _________________ -Colleen

Spare Ribs with Jamaican Rum BBQ Sauce.
This meal was a hit! We really like the sauce and may even ditch Sweet Baby Ray's <GASP>. _________________ Al

This morning I put pork chops in the slow cooker, sliced some onion and garlic over the top, and added one cup of chicken stock. Then I peeled and cubed up a load of sweet potatoes and put them in there too. Tonight I will just have to add a salad, and we will be good to go for dinner.
I love the slow cooker. Need to make a point to use it more. _________________ -Colleen

Wow! It's been a long time since anyone posted here. We had Primal Moussaka tonight. It was soooo good! Smashed cauliflower as a go-with. _________________ Steph |
