I thought this was a really cool back room view of their kitchen practices:
PF Chang's Kitchen Practices Regarding Food Allergens
Cool

Wow. I hope they license The Matrix to other restaurants or chains!

i think PF Changs is like the other national chains- some locations are really great and some aren't. I've been fine at one PF Chang's and been really sick at another in a different part of the country. To me it is hit and miss.

I think this is true. My dad chose the Dearborn, MI PF Chang's for his birthday dinner and I had no problems there. Husband also ordered off the GF menu so we could split our meals. The Mongolian Beef and Spicy Chicken were both delicious and I didn't get sick from any of it.

That's a very cool synopsis of their kitchen practices. It definitely makes me feel more comfortable eating there. I wish all restaurants could do that.

At the grocery store the other day there were frozen stir-fry type dinners for two by P.F. Changs. They had a sign indicating that they were a new item. I checked every label hoping... but, alas, they all contained gluten. Maybe if we all contacted the company asking them to produce a GF version of a couple of meals? The only NGF ingredient in several of the meals was the soy sauce. I wish companies would realize that there are perfectly good GF soy sauces out there.

Yeah, that's really odd. They definitely use the GF soy sauce in their restaurants.

I finally had the chance to go to PF Changs while in Dallas over the weekend. THEY WERE FANTASTIC. I was so excited to eat some real GF Food and I love asian food, so that was just an added bonus.

I had the lemon chicken from the GF Menu. We also ordered the GF Lettuce Wraps as an appetizer. It was all SO GOOD.

What impressed me the most was the way that they took being GF very seriously. I did not get sick...thats the best part.

For those of you in Texas, it was the PF Changs in Dallas at the North Park Mall.

Nice info about PF Changs and the back room view of their kitchen.
Can't wait to try their GF food.

I have an obsession with the lemon chicken at PF Chang's. My other favorites include the chicken lettuce wraps, fried rice and the chocolate dome dessert (it's extremely rich). I haven't tried the Mongolian beef yet.

I live about 20 minutes away from the one in White Plains, NY so that's our go to location. My servers always seem extremely knowledgeable about gluten sensitivities. I love eating at PF Chang's. I occasionally envy my teen who chows down on the pan fried dumplings. Such is life.

My husband and I recently went to Pei Wei (we got a gift card for PF Changs and we don't have one near us) and I got the GF Sweet and Sour Shrimp and it was delish!! I didn't seem to have any problems afterward either. And it has the veggies and pinapple in it too! I definetly recommend that one! Surprised

For sauce concerns, the one near me brings out ONLY gf soy sauce for the table and double checks with the chef to see if it was the GF soysauce used. They also use special plates that indicate what the GF dish is.

Im not sure if they all do that.

Those are standard procedures. Mine does that too.
