BTW TEC, I really liked your analogy! How did you know I liked Looney Tunes cartoons? Wink

I had no idea you liked Looney Tunes and I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how that popped in my head. Was never much of a cartoon watcher.

The point I was trying to make is exactly as you said in another post we need to make sure we undisguise any other potential diseases and not believe ourselves into CD. Because my family and loved ones* believed my medical issues were all CD related I nearly died. Instead I just had a miserable 7 years.

*I say my family and loved ones because I never realized how very sick I was until I got better. I adopted a new normal and couldn't differentiate between healthy normal and unhealthy normal.

The mystery disease TEC was describing is Addison'sDisease. It's a condition where your adrenal glands don't produce adrenaline [or enough of it]. Definitely not something to mess around with.

Just to clarify those with Addison's Disease do have adrenaline. It's cortisol and aldosterone that our bodies fail to produce.

JFK suffered from this. Many people do not realize what a toll it took on his health.

You're right. I've read several stories/accounts of how he and/or his handlers dealt with his Addison's Disease. Allegedly he was shot up with a variety of different drugs that worked against one another.

It's believed in some circles that JFK was also a celiac. FWIW the University of Chicago's CD Center has included Addison's Disease as a disease that will allow a person to have the free blood screening this year. GIG's had AD mentioned on their brochures for a few years now.

Thanks - I removed that line from my original post.
