I have epilepsy, and a brain injury from an accident. Since they told me there was damage to my small intestines, and it effects how it absorbs nutrients. Does it effect how the body absorbs medicine? Before I was dx w/ celiac I had an increase in seizures even though I was taking my medicine. Just wondering if I need to tell my neurologist the next time I see him.

You may find that you can reduce or eliminate certain medication as your absorption improves.
