Last year my husband and I went to Cancun for our Anniversary, when in doubt, I would have chips and salsa or such. By that Friday I was so fatigued I could hardly walk....that is the night I found out the chips there were Flour tortilla NOT corn tortilla! I truly had no idea.
I had a horrible rash for 6 months after that. I am sure it was DH for me. At first we didn't know so they gave me steroids to clear things up a bit, it always did, but as I weaned off of them, the rash came back. Just as I was going to a dermatologist 4 months later, they started to clear a bit. But I had a spot inside my hip that lasted through August!
I hope things clear up more quickly for you...because I know how bad the itching can be!
Sorry!
