Hi Wind,
Welcome to the board!
Wheat free = no wheat
Gluten free = no wheat, no barley, no rye and no oats*
Wheat free does not always equal Gluten Free
*Commercial oats are highly cross contaminated with gluten.
It's easy to get caught on that. Some products are labeled as WF - they might be GF, but you have to read the label and check to make sure there's no barley, rye or oats. _________________ Al

thanks. I love seeing you and your spouse's picture , it makes me feel very welcome. I asked a ? on another thread about support groups. I am in CA, but might want to meet with folks who have Celiac. Do you find it helpful?

As good as these online discussion boards are - it's very hard to replace face to face human contact. Yes, they are very helpful! Consider joining one that you feel comfortable with.
