I actually had a fried egg waffle sandwich this morning. With my "waffle addiction" I try to only have 1 a day...so I guess waffles tonight are out of the question! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Wink Wink Wink

Tonight we are taking a friend to the Yard House for dinner. They have a gluten free menu, so I plan to have the Ribeye with garlic mashed! YUMMO!!! Even got a babysitter for the event (which we do not often do). Hubby and the friend plan to have some drinks, so I will be driving!

Tonight DH and I are hitting up Biaggi's. They have some GF bowtie pasta that's to die for. I'll ask them what brand they use.

I just looked at their GF menu! Could you send me some farfalle alfredo? Pregnant Woman Craving! I wish the Ohio location were closer - it would be nice to go to a place with a GF menu!!

Sure! But it might be a little cool by the time it gets to you. Sad

Seriously, I'll ask what brand they use and any tips on cooking it. If they tell me anything useful I'll post it here.

Hey! Call the hospital dietitian and ask them to put it on your menu! Laughing Who knows? They might!

Of course it might elicit the typical nutritionists' lecture that would go something like this: "What are you thinking??? Alfredo!?!?!? Don't you know that's a heart-attack-on-a-plate!?" Just tell them yes, you know that, but you want to die happy.... Laughing

I wonder how hard they would laugh before they hung up the phone?

Last night we had western style pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce, garlic parsley potatoes (I fell off the no sugar, no starch diet!), and corn. The children had ice cream sundaes, but I refrained because I felt guilty for eating the potatoes.

That looks delicious, Al.

Yesterday I was with a friend who's writing a GF cookbook. We tested several different pizza crusts. Needless to say I had waaayyy too much 'za and won't need any for a long time.

Tonight was a good one, finally. I cooked for the traditional Sunday family dinner...first time I've cooked for it all summer I think.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin and chx breast with SBR, (macaroni salad made with Tinkyada thin, spirally type pasta), cole slaw (grandpa loves the stuff), mashed potatoes made with fresh potatoes, fresh green beans, a HUGE platter different varieties of heirloom tomatoes, melon and cheese cake brownies. For those of you new to the diet and the forum, do yourself a favor and try the cheesecake brownies posted in the appropriate folder.

I thought about taking a photo but got sidetracked. I'm stuffed and need a nap.
