|
|
After finally finding an already made and ready to eat product that was safe for my consumption, i bought a a box, only to get home and check out the website of the company, being Decadent Alternatives, and see they shut down production of all the biscuits back in feb of this year!
The only ingredients are Besan Flour, Margarine, Sugar and GF baking powder. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how much of each ingredient to use and how to prepare them.
I know most of the people who frequent this forum are not from Australia, so most likely have never tasted these biscuits, but any suggestions would be great! If it helps any, they taste like they are full of peanut butter, without any nuts, and they are fairly crumbley too. |

Am I correct that what you call biscuits are the same thing we call cookies in the U.S.? Also do you have multiple food intolerances? If you do, listing them would help us possibly come up with a recipe for you. I have a really good peanut butter cookie recipe that might work. Also, what other name might besan flour have? _________________ Steph |

Yep biscuits and cookies are the same thing as far as i know!
And my current list of allergies and sensitivities includes yeast and anything fermented, gluten(obviously!), corn, dairy, eggs, and nuts. There is a few more but i'm pretty sure you don't put those things(eg. garlic & onions!) in cookies/biscuits! |
