|
|
hi, i'm new!
I had a baby 12 months ago and since then i've been having the following symptoms:
random diarrhea (particulary after eating bread)
reccurent mouth ulcers (i ALWAYS have one)
cold spots on my legs
numbness in my wrist and hand
a random patch of what looked like dh on my finger which was there for months but has now gone
tiredness
very irregular periods
Also what should i say to my doctor? should i just tell him the symptoms or should i suggest celiac disease?
Thank you in advance |

Hey Truly! Welcome to the board! First of all, please keep in mind that none of us are doctors. So we can't (and won't) diagnose you.

Why not do both? Your doctor might have some other ideas too. Some of your symptoms could be due to Celiacs. Or they could be due to other life events. Have you done anything really different lately (change in diet, habits, major stress, etc)? _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Hi, Truly. I'm glad you are here, but sorry you have been having trouble. There are literally hundreds of symptoms of celiac. Yours are among them, but they could be indicative of other things as well. Celiac generally is triggered by an event (illness, trauma, pregnancy), so the timeline could work. It seems reasonable to suggest the celiac bloodwork to your doctor as one thing to look at.
Let us know how you are doing. _________________ -Colleen
