Kids don't know they are being "deprived" if you don't tell'em. I notice that the good, whole foods tend to go farther and satisfy better, even with their picky palates.
DS loves an apple and peanut butter before bed. How can I deny him that? I'm training him well. _________________ Nance

Yep, works real good until they can read. I have a teenager that won't eat anything that says fiber, low sugar etc. on the package. However if he doesn't see that package he likes it just fine. I remember pancake syrup one time he refused to eat, I started pouring it into "his" bottle and SURPRISE, it was soon all gone. _________________ CD by Biopsy 3/25/88 |

My husband is the same way. What he doesn't know will never hurt him. _________________ GF BD 1/4/2008

Sometimes I do this with certain items - refill the name brand container with a cheaper brand - nobody knows and they eat whatever it is without complaint.
Uh Oh, threadjacking alert!! |
