Hi,
My Dr. re-tested my gliadin antibodies after being GF for 9 months, and they had gone down from 48 to 11. I was glad to have that good news. At least that proves the diet works.
My Dad tested negative on his panel, and I think I've finally gotten my Mom to agree to get tested.
Unfortunately, my iron was still low. Has anyone been tested for intrinsic factor anti-bodies?
What is CIDP?

Hi Patty,
Well done on the blood tests!!! Keep up the good work!!
Glad to hear your Mom has agreed to get tested. This can be a double edge sword tho...if the tests come back negative...that closes the door for her to ever be GF. You may feel she would benefit from a GFD - but, she will have that piece of paper from the Doc that says "No you're fine".
The iron may take some time to come back. I think I've seen up to a year or so.
I'm not sure I know what Intrinsic Factor Anti-bodies are?
