Things I eat for breakfast:
- Always some type of fruit, either frozen cherries or frozen strawberries.
- Grits (are made from corn)
- Corn or Rice chex (they are GF)
- Cooked quinoa with raisens
- Yogurt
- Sometimes GF frozen waffles or, on the weekend I'll make GF pancakes
- Sometimes GF toast with jam
I avoid all nuts due to the high fat content. I seem to gain a weight every time I have just a few nuts. _________________ GF since 1996. |

Adding my report for breakfast .
I also have pretty much the same thing every day. It's meat and dairy free because I'm a vegan:
3/4 cup cooked quinoa
fruit (these days, because it's summer, it's usually peaches, nectarines, or plums or a combination of two or more of these)
cinnamon
I eat 6 small meals every day rather than 3 big ones, so breakfast is really in 2 parts. The first part is the quinoa. The second is 2 rice cakes spread with some homemade hummus and raw veggies on the side.
