| Kinda new to this GF lifestyle! Can I eat hotdogs? do they have to be a specific brand?? If so, where exactly can I get this info? Have many cookbooks that tell you what yiou can/cannot eat, but hotdogs are not included in either list. HELP!! |

| I personally eat Applegate Farms Organic Beef Hotdogs. Not sure about regular hotdogs however. |

I believe Oscar Meyer franks are made by Kraft. If so, check the ingredient list. Kraft will not hide gluten on the label. They may not be labeled as GF, but if there is gluten, wheat, barley, rye, or oats, will be indicated in their ingredient list. _________________ Steph |

Bell Park, Oscar Meyer, Jennie-O, and I think Hillshire. But I'd read the label, anyway. _________________ Live well. Or die trying. |

All hotdogs I have seen at my store have fillers, and the main filler is wheat. I avoid all hotdogs. Sausages are a different matter.
When hotdogs say "all beef" this refers to the MEAT ONLY. That means there is no pork. It does not mean there are no fillers. There are fillers and they are often wheat. _________________ GF since 1996. |

| I think you can eat Hebrew National hotdogs - I have read in the book, Gluten Free, Hassle Free, that not only hotdogs but Salami and balogna are okay if they are this brand, as well. |
