I may have been GLUTENED

I had a burger, no bun, no fries, but with sauteed onions (combo veggie and canola oils they said) at a place call Whelan' s in LA. EEk, I have been having some bloating ever since, so bummed.

Sorry you're feeling bad. It will take a while to find places you can trust to keep you safe every time. A lot of people give it a few months of being GF before they try eating out. There are a lot of skills to learn before you can be consistently safe - even at home. One thing I have learned is to trust my gut instinct (no pun intended Laughing

). Everytime I've had a bad feeling about a place I've been glutened. It's kind of weird, because I am not aware of any conscious reason that I get that feeling of impending doom Laughing

. Now I walk if I get that feeling. And I reward the places I've come to trust with my business. I'm not saying I'm psychic, I don't even believe in that, I just think our brains process information we're not even aware of on a conscious level.

Did you talk to the management beforehand? Did you ask them how they handle CC? (Is all the food cooked on the same grill?)
