| My neighbor who works for a food distributor brought these over for us. I had never heard of them but my son loves em! http://www.cerealfoodsusa.com/ |

| Yea. He does a great job making sure our local "Giant Eagle" is stalked with all types of gluten free products. He pretty much has it to the point where we do not need specialty stores. You could not ask for a better neighbor and I do not forget it. He is always giving us gluten free products that will expire soon but there is never a problem with them. |

I've got to look for those!
My preference has been for mainstream GF foods lately. It's so convenient, less costly, and makes it easier for my family when I can tell them what I eat from the regular grocery store (they don't like health food stores). _________________ Lauren

Yes. The food tastes funny, it's too expensive, and my mother doesn't know where anything is. It's okay since I don't live at home (I have an apartment about 4 miles down the road from my parent's house). _________________ Lauren

Oh, we had "food fights" and I moved out (after living at home just one year when I transferred, very long story) long before I was diagnosed. I'd have killed my mom by now if I was living at home . Even before I was diagnosed I'd have to deal with them complaining about me making mac and cheese with peas in it, even though I was not making it to share! And if I didn't cook anything then I'd get remarks about that too! She's just now starting to come around to the idea that food really does make me sick
I have lived in the same apartment for 2 years now, but since I was diagnosed with Celiac I decided when my lease was up to move to a place with a better kitchen and an actual dining room this August! Plus a table on the balcony (and wireless and a laptop, of course). Doubles my bicycle commute from 1 to 2 miles, but it's worth it . I'll have roommates, but made it clear that I have food allergies and it's not a big deal for them as long as they leave my food and seperate set of pots alone (just easier to buy a new set than have to be a clean kitchen nazi) _________________ Lauren

I was surprised to find anything on this topic, especially from 2 years ago considering I just bought Baffles and it says "NEW!" right on the label. They suddenly appeared in the gluten free section of my grocery store, and I had been craving rice cakes ever since I saw a co-worker eating them and didn't know if I could have them or not.
I got caramel ones and chocolate ones, but I've only tried caramel so far. They're one of those highly addictive foods where it's really hard not to eat the whole bag, but I don't necessarily think they're absolutely great. There are just some foods that I might not even like, but I can't stop eating them once I get started. These were actually pretty good, I just think they left a funny taste in my mouth about 5 minutes after I was done eating them.
I will definitely buy them again because they are very inexpensive compared to other GF snacks that I've been relying on.
Has anyone else tried them yet? I'm wondering if they failed right off the bad and then were reintroduced recently to try again. |

| I've had the chocolate, caramel, cranberry, and BBQ ones. I've thoroughly enjoyed all but the caramel (the flavor seems somewhat artificial to me). |
