I noticed while shopping today General Mills has started labeling Yoplait Yogurt "gluten free" on the back label.

Yep - just be careful - I've seen some varieties that don't have that GF label. To be safe, I only buy the ones that are so-labeled.

Stoneyfield Farms yogurt is now labeled gluten-free, too.

The good thing about General Mills - is that they disclose all forms of gluten -[wheat, barley, rye & oats].

I just went to Publix to purchase some yoplait yogurt. I did not see any GF labels on the containers. Maybe I didnt look in the right places. I also looked online at yoplait's website, still nothing about gluten free. I decided not to go with it. Instead, I went for Stoneyfield. I'm looking forward to it.

Any ideas about Activa? I love that stuff.

The last I knew Activia was not GF

Since Yoplait is a General Mills product, you can read the ingredient list and tell.

I heard the same thing about Activia...and I'm not going to take chances on that kind of stuff, so I stick with the Stonyfield. Smile

Always remember to rinse and crush your yoplait yogurt containers. They kill the wildlife!

Dd and I encountered a little skunk in our back yard with a yoplait container on it's head. It was running in circles and banging into things. First we tried to knock it off with a broom, then we tried to pull it off. It was stuck so tight we lifted the skunk up off his feet pulling on that container. I got dh out of bed for some help. We put a blanket over it(didn't want to get sprayed) and then dh had to hold it's neck firm and just plain muscle the container off. It had formed a major suction. The poor skunk would have suffocated. It took a good deep breath and we all ran like mad. never did spray us. lol!

General Mills is real resistant to changing the containers. I've sent them some emails which the are now ignoring.

Thanks for the tip, Neesee. Was it this guy? He's been lurking around our chicken coop the last few nights and stinking up the joint. Do you think if I threw yogurt containers everywhere he would get the message that he's not welcome? Wink

I save my yogurt containers for starting seeds in the spring.

Love the pic Colleen. I know they're little pests, but they sure are cute. Smile

I have a feeling this little guy wasn't as lucky as our skunk.
