I have been lurking around here for 6 months. I was diagnosed in October, '07. Became GF 10/10/07. I have been doing pretty well since I started GF. Hd 6 month visit with Dr. yesterday, all my numbers are up.
I was so happy to hear that news. I have learned so much from reading this forum, and want to thank you all for your contributions to it. I am still on the learning curve, but I have done a lot of research and feel that I am well on the way to good health. Thank you all for all the info.

Hey Mitzie,

Welcome to the board! Glad you decided to come out of the shadows and join in the fun.

Hmmm, judging by your reaction having all numbers UP must be a good thing. Hopefully you are not talking about any celiac antibody testing because when those numbers are up - it's not a good thing. It generally means gluten is getting in somewhere.

Keep up the good work! [I hope]

Hi Al,
The numbers I was referring to were for vitamin D and Anemia. My blood count for anemia is normal. And vitamin D is better. I don't have the numbers for antibodies yet, but DR thinks they will be good too. I have tried to register here a few times but it wouldn't go through. So I tried one more time and it worked. So here I am. I have been doing a lot of research on line and have learned a lot about GF living and CD. what a great resource this is.
I enjoy all the people comments here. So much information. Thank you all again.
