What make and model of stove/oven do you have Os? |
My grill and stove burners make the same noise. But, neither this nor the last oven did. |

OK, so DH read through the manual, and everything sounds normal. The stove has something called "Accusensor Control". It basically electrically monitors the temp in the oven. When the temp gets too low it sends out another stream of gas to light, sorta like the coils going on and off in an electric oven. Hence the tick-WOOSH sounds. Accusensor Control can't be changed, apparently.
This is a brand-new oven, so maybe it's a new feature? How old is your oven TEC? _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

My oven/stove is one year old.
In the previous post you said the oven goes tick-whoosh. Did you mean the burners instead? If so then we're in agreement...mine also make the noise. If you meant the oven itself then no I don't think it should make that noise. |

Yeah, the burners make that sound too. But I was referring to the oven. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={
