My cold hands/feet are usually more a sign that my thyroid meds need adjustment. I didn't really notice a correlation with my gluten status. Of course, with a critically ill family member and not much time at home lately, I'm eating out more and living dangerously in terms of CC, so who knows.

I am having a few very minor symptoms too, but the last time I got glutened, I got *really* sick really fast, and it hasn't happened yet in the last few weeks.

Haha... I am the queen of cold; I constantly have to apologize to my patients at the hospital when I do procedures that involve making skin contact because my hands are like icicles with a stethoscope...

Oh, My hands and feet used to get sooo cold. (year round!) Actually my whole body would be cold except my face which was hot. Really weird isn't it? I've gotten a LOT better though since changing my diet to: GF dairy-free, egg-free, sugar-free, with tons of veggies. (I wonder which one of those things helped?) Now I'm only cold if everyone else is! Very Happy
I wonder if I had been lacking some sort of vitamin that I just couldn't absorb before? (I know it wasn't iron though cause I was tested and it was fine)

Yeah, I am almost always freezing if it's below 75 degrees...The North Face is one of my favorite brands hehehe
Why I'm still living in northern NJ, I have no idea LOL Wink

I'm not sure what causes it, but I *do* know that I have relatively low blood pressure...perhaps that's why?
Any time I have to go to a doctor, my toes and fingers turn purple while I'm waiting for him/her...

Could be! Most of my family has incredibly low blood pressure, including myself. Every time I get my BP checked I ask the doc if I'm legally dead yet.

Hehehe
Yeah, when I went to get my tonsils out this past March, the RNs were like, "Um...is your blood pressure ALWAYS this low??" I swear they were afraid to put me under. Razz
Oddly enough, both of my parents are on BP meds...for the opposite problem. I swear, I am definitely the milkman's child. Laughing

My hands and feet are always cold when my thyroid meds need to be adjusted. My feet were hot all the time while I was pregnant. I haven't noticed my hands being cold as much since I've been home with Joey. (Maybe I'm just too busy or my hormones haven't gotten back into sync yet...)

That's so interesting to hear that so many of us experience this. I've always had WICKED cold hands and feet. I remember when I was younger and got in bed with my mom, the first thing she'd say was, your feet are soooo cold!! My ex boyfriend used to think it was so funny/a little weird that my hands/feet were always cold, even if the rest of me was warm. I don't have it that severe that it is Raynaud's or anything, but my hands/feet are definitely the coldest parts of my body and the most difficult to warm up. I love wearing Uggs.....soooo very warm for my feet, sometimes I wear them as slippers Smile

I don't think this has improved since going GF. My hands/feet still get extremely cold all the time!

I've always had cold hands and feet...they don't turn white or blue though.
My s/o always complains that I'm warming my extremities on him...he's always so pleasantly warm. Smile
