Three Bean Salad

This is the recipe my mum has made since I was little, and it's one of my favorites.

1 - 16 oz. can red kidney beans
1 - 16 oz. can green beans
1 - 16 oz. can yellow wax beans
1 lrg. onion, sliced into very thin rings
1 green pepper, sliced

Drain the beans well, and mix with the onions and peppers.

Dressing:

2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cider vinegar
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. celery seed

Mix the dressing ingredients together and pour over the bean mixture. Let stand (in fridge) at least three hours, stirring occasionally (overnight for best flavor).
