Yes - if your Grandma will surrender her Banana bread recipe I would love to see it.

I don't know why the recipe from the Ryberg book didn't work out. I think I will try the snickerdoodles recipe this weekend to see if I have better luck with that.

I love that recipe. After I make them I freeze, then pull out an micro for 30 seconds or so and they are soft, like fresh baked. Next time I want to try half butter and half marg to see if they stay softer, without microwaving. The flavor of this cookie is fabulous!!!!!!!!!!

I made the buttermilk pancake recipe from the Ryberg book. Because it is made with starches, I added 1/2 t. cinnamon and 1/2 t. vanilla to the batter. I also let the batter rest 10 minutes before putting it on the griddle. My family was raving about my pancakes this morning.

I made a double batch and had left overs. For lunch the children heated 2 cakes in the microwave for a few seconds, then put peanut butter and fruit preserves on them and ate them like sandwiches. I'm thinking that next time maybe we should spread with cream cheese and fruit preserves. Very Happy My stomach is growling...
