Hello eveyone!
I have some great news -- or bad -- depending on how you favor me .
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease the 14th of June and have been gluten free for over a month! My body is still recovering; I still get winded very easily and the stomach cramps kick in every once in a great while.
I am just so happy that my diet is working and that the Doctors were finally able to diagnose this disease that I've had since 7th grade.
I have yet to go out to eat -- still frightened. I am still nervous about school starting next month. I have to make a schedule to speak with my advisor and food staff. That should be interesting.
Anyways -- I just wanted to stop in and say thanks to everyone for their support and knowledge. This is a tough thing, celiac disease -- that is. Especially for a 19 year old -- but at least my cravings for bread and such have died.
Thanks again!! _________________ Patrick

Patrick,
I am so glad you have such a great attitude about this. You know...that attitude will take you places in this life!
Keep up the good work. Venture out to eat when you feel ready - there's no need to force it.
Good luck in school! WOW, that's coming up pretty soon!
Thanks for the update. _________________ Al
