Just diagnosed and weight 232lbs. I did weight 265 for a long time until i did a 2 week gluten free diet test and actually lost that weight to where i am.

I brought gluten back and never lost another lb.

I have been diagnosed with celiac as of today so i have to stop it all perminantly but want to know... will I loose weight? Ever?

My problem is I was skinny after my kid was born, got the norplant in my arm and got sick from it with about 92lb weight gain in 22 days.

Anyway, took a year to get it out of the arm (couldn't afford it) and by then the weight was mine to keep.

For years i literally ate one meal a day because i wanted to loose weight so bad yet it never EVER left. Just got higher and higher. I started to eat 3 square meals (health) a day and went from 200lbs up to 265 in a few years time.

I never got smaller and wonder, will I finally loose it? Help.

No one can tell you, and it will depend largely on how you go gluten free. The breads are VERY high calorie, and even I have to avoid them to keep from gaining weight (24, relatively active, can eat pretty much anything I want except for breads and pastas). I use brown rice for carbs.

You'll have to find what works for you. For me it's the lack of processed grains. Good luck.
