Well I am already for my Superbowl party, thanks to all of you. I made the sweet and sour meatballs and Al's chili and my chicken wings with GF bbq sauce. I have my GF chips and homemade GF dip and a big veggie tray for good measure. All of your recipes turned out absolutely wonderful. I know because I cheated and had a little bit of each for my dinner tonight. Razz Thanks Again everyone for all of the recipes and shopping tips.

Enjoy the game everyone and may the best team win. Go Hawks!

Glad you have tons of GF snacks. Go Commercials!!

Connie...don't worry if you have leftover chili...it freezes really well. It's a great quick meal, just pull it out of the freezer and wave it!!

Happy & Safe Snacking!!

When I saw may the best team win in recipes I thought, Oh, a contest for Red Velvet Cake. Embarassed Yes, I am a blond, but not a dumb blond. Just am not into sport and hubby doesn't get all into it either. Hope who ever you are cheering for wins.

Well, we didn't catch much of the game last night or much of the commercials for that matter. We were recovering from a late night out on Saturday (a surprise 50th BD party for Peg's brother - we were the setup crew, the food crew, the entertainment crew & the cleanup crew). Then church and a church council brunch at the Pastors House all Sunday afternoon. WE WERE EXHAUSTED!!

Since everybody couldn't be winners in the big game...hopefully all the snacks were big winners!!! Let's hear how they went over with the snackers... Smile

Even though it was a bitter disappointment that the SeaHawks didn't do as well as we had hoped, Crying or Very sad we still had a wonderful time. It was so great that we got the opportunity. We had nine people there and there were not many leftovers. Everyone loved everything and I didn't mention that it was gluten free. Not everyone there knows about my celiac and I wanted the get together to be focused on other things. I did run into an awkward situations when one person noticed I wasn't trying any dishes that others brought. I simply said that I was on a special diet and didn't want to break it. That seemed to satisfy her and she didn't ask any further questions. No one noticed anything different about the snacks I had set out and they were gone while the mini quiches, and little dogs in a blanket and other assorted junk foods all had some left at the end of the game! Becauseyou have CD you may not be able to stop at the deli to pick somethng up at the last minute anymore, but with proper planning you definately do not have to feel like your missing out on anything either. I was full and satisfied and didn't care one bit that I was skipping some of the other dishes, however good they looked.
