I am a Tim Hortons addict and was very upset to learn that their tea is not gluten free. But I see they have a new product, Hot Smoothies, and they look sooo good. I was wondering if anyone knows if they are gluten free? I've looked at their website but have had no luck finding any information.
Thanks! _________________ Discpline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments |

Tim Hortons is a chain of coffee/donut shops in Canada, but I think there are some in the US now.
You pretty much have to e-mail them to get any info out of them but I've heard people have had a hard time getting a response from them so I figured I would ask here before contacting them _________________ Discpline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments |

Tim Horton's are really big in Michigan. There's almost as many of them as there are drugstores! I guess being so close to Canada makes us prime real estate. I can't imagine ANYTHING in there being safe for us. Just the smell of that decadent yeasty, wheaty, sugary air is enough to get you high--or low , as it were. What in the world do they put in their TEA to make it glutenous?? _________________ The Love we withhold is the pain that we carry.

I have found a list!
Beverages:
Hot Chocolate
English Toffee Cappuccino
French Vanilla Cappuccino
Iced Cappuccino
Coffee/Tea
Hot Smoothies
Soup & Stew:
Turkey Wild Rice Soup
Chili
Baked Beans:
Quebec Only
Yogurt and Berries:
Vanilla Yogurt and Berries
Strawberry Yogurt and Berries
To answer your question NickisDragon, I've read that some teas have barley in them which makes them a no no.
I think the drinks would be safe but I would be afraid to get soup incase of cross contamination from a ladle or something, with my luck I would have a nasty reaction from it.
Hopefully this has been helpful for some people. _________________ Discpline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments |
