|
|
1 bag GF tater tots (ore-ida)
2 lb. GF sage sausage, browned and drained
1 lb. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked
1 can Progresso Cream of Mushroom Soup (or another GF equivalent)
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
fresh ground pepper to taste
1 small can Durkee French Fried Onions
Line the bottom of a 9x13 pan with tater tots. Bake in preheated 425* oven for 20 minutes. (While the tots are baking, you can fry the sausage and cook the broccoli). Mix 2 cups cheese and black pepper with mushroom soup and set aside. When tots are done, remove pan from oven. Layer first with the sausage, then the broccoil. Pour soup mixture over top. Bake 1 hr covered. Remove cover, sprinkle on fried onions, top with remaining cheese and put back in oven, uncovered, for 5 minutes, just to melt cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. |

Just double checking. I thought Durkee French Fried onion had G. I was thinking when I was using them for my Green bean casserole I was told they had G. Anyway just checking. Recipe looks good and worth trying

I quit making it with the onions because some in my home do not like them. That was before going GF, sorry! I do not know if they are GF or not...
